Seasons

Spring Staffordshire Canals

Why not start the year off with an Easter or Spring break.

Fresh mornings, pictuesque scenery, new life emerging. Wonderful way to start the year.

Our local canals reopen Mid March, what a wonderful time to explore the canals. The canals have lain dormant for the winter and are just starting to awake. Spring this is the time of the year Dominic likes to cruise. Every where is fresh, misty mornings and crisp days.

Summer Staffordshire Canals

Summer, Family Holidays. lovely balmy evenings sitting with a glass of wine watching the world go by or may be playing those old board games again.

This is the season Kimberley loves. Cooking tea on the towpath on the bbq, sitting on the front deck watching Nanny Cath trying to teach the children how to fish (hoping they don’t catch a whale).

Autumn Staffordshire Canals

In Autumn experiance the miriad of colours, beautiful evenng sunsets to the red and golden leaves of the trees. Eating lovely meals in canal side inns warmed by cosy open fires. Nothing more relaxing at this time of the year as Walking through rustling leaves on the towpath.

What about it? catch a late break before the season closes at the begining of November. Peter and I think its one of the nicest times of the year, on the Caldon Canal on a boat.
