Autherley, Llangollen, Chester, Middlewich - (200 miles - 134 locks)
Travel over 2 aqueducts in the Welsh hills.

Stourport, Tewkesbury, Worcester, Birmingham, Fradley - (171 miles - 165 locks
5 canals & R. Severn. Cross Birmingham in 4 hours.

Burton, Leicester, Braunston, Fradley - (200 miles - 122 locks)
popular route with 30 miles on R. Soar.

2 Week Non Circular

Fradley, Braunston, Oxford - or Banbury (264 miles - 154 locks)
very interesting & pleasant route.

Stourport, Tewkesbury, Pershore - (200 miles - 110 locks)
R. Avon. Shakespeare's Avon is lovely & now navigable.

The Cheshire Ring

Kidsgrove, Mow Cop, Marple, Preston Brook - 100 miles - 92 locks)
go past the famous Anderton Boat Lift & through fine wooded valleys.

The Black Country Ring

Fradley, Braunston, Birmingham, Fradley - (175 miles - 138 locks)
some good scenery & some traffic on the Grand Union Canal.
